It all started in 1970, when the engineer Fortunato, combining engineering knowledge with the experience and know-how acquired in Canada by two of its collaborators, designed two small fiberglass boats 4 Y 5 meters – at that time a novelty for boat production in Italy. The two models called Skino and Ciaula, once launched on the market, They immediately achieved moderate success, which led the engineer to continue with the company and found the first Sicilian fiberglass shipyard in 1971, under the Eolo brand. The name chosen by the engineer symbolically marks half a century of the life of the work.
